ProcessesDyeing Dyeing
Different classes of dyestuffs and various dyeing methods are used to colour fabrics depending on the fibre and the application.
Open-width dyeing
The following units are available for dyeing fabrics which are prone to creasing: atmospheric jig for fabric widths of up to 340cm and weights of approx. 200 - 400 kg; atmospheric sampling jigger for fabric widths of up to 180cm and small runs of 40 - 240 metres; high-temperature jig for fabric widths of up to 180cm and weights of approx. 400 kg; high-temperature piece dyeing beams for fabric widths of up to 340cm and weights of approx. 100 - 200 kg depending on fabric thickness; padder with hot flue for fabric widths of up to 190cm, padder for cold-pad batch dyeing of fabric widths of up to 180cm.
Rope dyeing
Various atmospheric and high-temperature jets for fabric weights of 10 - 350 kg are used in the hank dyeing plant. Particularly delicate fabrics can be dyed on special horizontal jets.
Swatch dyeing
In addition to classic laboratory dyeing (DIN A4 size) and suit length dyeing (0.5 - 3m length, 45cm width), the dye shop is now also offering full-width dyeing for small lots. Since September 2009 we have had a sampling jigger which is an economically viable, efficient, safe and professional method of bleaching and/or dyeing lengths of 60 - 120 metres. The maximum fabric width is 180cm. Lengths of 20 - 60 metres are now also possible thanks to this investment, although compromises have to be accepted in terms of the reproducibility of the colour, the feel and the technological performance data, depending on the quality.
