Processes Cloth inspection Cloth inspection Cloth inspection includes the final check on quality, the customisation of the piece and the specific make-up of the article (rolling, pleating, doubling, winding), as well as the labelling, packaging and palletising of the pieces. We have the relevant making-up machines to supply the goods to the customer as specified. The cloth inspection essentially revolves around the three-stage quality control process and the final presentation. The first stage is a thorough visual inspection of the quality of the finished fabrics. Flaws are marked and recorded electronically. Specially developed software is used in the second stage to work out the optimum cutting plan for the inspected batch. The batch is then taken through a fully automatic winding process in the third stage and cut according to the cutting plan. At this stage all the swatches are taken and labelled. The rolls are labelled, tagged and conveyed to the packing machine.
